Multi-talented to the degree that besides her dance-choreography career, Lakshmi indulges in classical vocals, having given several acclaimed concerts. She is also currently conducting PhD research in the ancient language, Sanskrit. Aiming to teach and promote Indian art and music, she has founded The Centre for Divine Arts in Bangalore.
The soft spoken professional dancer has given several performances across India and UK and also runs her dance academy, where apart from Bharatnatyam students also get to learn folk dances. And for all this she gets the encouragement and support from her family.
